Congratulations to South Carolina State University's Atlanta Alumni Chapter for being awarded the 2010 Shining Light Award. In 2010, the alumni chapter donated $10,000 to their university to provide scholarships for Atlanta based students. They also increased membership by 22%. In addition, the group assists the university with recruitment in the Atlanta area.
